Children of Adam Band

The Children of Adam Band hails from Philadelphia, a “Sanctuary City” and the “City of Brotherly Love”. “COA” is a 14-member “New World Music” band performing its own original “PM Music” (Positive Message Bearing Music), a unique “self-created” genre of music created by COA without reference to abusive language, bigotry, bullying, drugs, guns, misogyny, or racism.

The music is a hybrid fusion of Jazz, Funk, R&B, Soul, Latin, African, Middle Eastern, and Spoken Word, all blended with a touch of the “American Experience”. “COA” celebrates the musical diversity of humanity. “Come Together" is our "Global Anthem". "BILAL" is their first CD and their new 2021 CD release is "TIMBUK-TU-THE HUMAN JOURNEY" featuring 15+ songs. Says COA Founder Baba Kenya, "Our collective desire is to leave a positive impact on this world and inspire others." The final track “PANDEMIC PRAYER”-*BONUS TRACK-song honors the victims and surviving families of the Covid-19 pandemic. All proceeds from this song will be donated to the World Health Organization-United Nations.

"We are committed to presenting a festival whose performers and organizers are as racially and ethnically diverse as the great metropolis they call home. And as a consequence of this goal of diversity, all events at the Festival will be available without tickets, so that all who visit one of the many Festival venues can do so for free."
We firmly believe this festival can make a positive impact on interfaith understanding, especially in a region founded upon the creed of religious tolerance. By celebrating our cultural differences, the festival challenges the purveyors of bigotry and hate, and seeks to strengthen the bonds between different communities of faith by fostering mutual understanding across religious, racial, and ethnic backgrounds. Your sponsorship will demonstrate your commitment to these ideals.  Your support will make this festival and all the events associated with it free-of-charge and open to the public.
