Celebrating the diversity and creativity of the Muslim communities of the greater Delaware Valley.
📅 Saturday, November 22, 2025
🏫 Temple University Performing Arts Center
📍 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Muslims have been part of Philadelphia’s multicultural landscape for over 200 years, and we are deeply woven into the fabric of this region. While our communities have a wide range of life experiences, the issue that brings them to us is one they all must confront: Islamophobia.
For the past decades, our organizations have worked to develop programming that brings all Muslims together in respectful recognition of our diverse traditions and shares our unique cultural contributions with our friends and neighbors within and beyond Philadelphia.
The Philadelphia Muslim Communities Arts and Culture Festival fulfills this affirmative role: it is designed to fill our hearts and speak to our souls as Muslims, adherents to our many cultural traditions, and members of the broader community. As we fight for our communities’ rights, we must also remind ourselves and our non-Muslim neighbors of the amazing richness of Islamic culture. By celebrating our cultural differences, the Festival challenges the purveyors of bigotry and hate, strengthens the bonds between different communities of faith, and fosters mutual understanding across religious, racial, and ethnic backgrounds.
To ensure access to all community members, the Festival is open to the public free of charge. With your help, we will combat Islamophobia, build interfaith harmony, and expand the cultural horizons of our non-Muslim neighbors.
